With Regence Dollar Based Dental Insurance, you have the ability to control your benefit increase by getting at least one cleaning and exam during the benefit year. Payment options that you can choose from are credit card payments or mail check with an enclosed print out of your pre-filled application. Since the plan is dollar based, it means you can choose to use your coverage in almost any way with only a few exclusions and limitations. The plan features:

  • No deductibles
  • No limitations or exclusions for covered services; however, orthodontia, teeth bleaching and veneers are not covered services
  •  Ability to choose any dentist but note that you can save more if you use one of their network providers

Optional vision rider available where you can reimburse $150 in vision services and/or hardware per member every two year

Every year that a member takes advantage of an annual exam and cleaning, the benefit dollars available to the member increases. Their goal is to reach $1,500 in available benefits by the fourth year. Each year, this plan pays 100% of the first $150 of care, 80% of the next $500 of care and 50% of remaining care until the member reaches their annual maximum benefit. Although, there is a six months waiting period for all covered services on this plan so that is something you would have to take into consideration if this is what you want to avail.
